- Contribute to a stable long-term investors base for European listed companies, among others through a EU wide framework for shareholder identification and cross-border voting
- Improve access to capital markets in particular for “smaller” issuers through revised regulatory regimes for the prospectus, transparency obligations and MiFID

- Some 30 position papers produced in 2009. Topics include Shareholder Rights, Harmonisation of Securities Law, Financial Supervision, Corporate Governance, Clearing and Settlement, Market Abuse, Prospectus, Transparency, Short Selling, Hedge Funds, Audit, etc
