Bylaws

The association was first established under the name of “European Association of Listed Companies”, in short “EALIC”, by notarial deed of 23 December 2005 enacted by Public Notary Eric Spruyt in Brussels. The association has the legal statute of an international not for profit organisation, aisbl-ivzw, with registered seat in Brussels and governed by the provisions of Title III of the Belgian law of 27 June 1921 regarding not for profit associations, international not for profit associations and foundations. The association was granted legal personality by Royal Decree of 5 March 2006.

The bylaws were modified in March 2008 following the decision of EALIC and UNIQUE to combine their organisations. A consolidated version after revisions as adopted by the Extraordinary General Meeting of 6 March 2008 can be downloaded below.

Note: the official bylaws are drawn up in French under provisions of Belgian law. The English version is an unofficial translation for information purposes only. In the event of any ambiguity or conflict between the two versions, the French text shall prevail.
