As ESG regulations evolve in complexity, publicly listed companies are facing increasing challenges in meeting compliance demands. Efforts to simplify these regulations seek to alleviate the administrative burden and reduce reporting obligations. The panel assesses how the ongoing regulatory simplification of the Sustainable Finance framework can enhance EU companies’ competitiveness in global markets. Speakers will evaluate whether the simplification’s focus on increasing EU companies’ competitiveness can ultimately facilitate corporates’ access to capital markets, and result in a reignition of IPO activity in Europe.
